太さの異なる綿と麻を二重織にし、さらに塩縮加工を加えることで、凹凸感のあるふっくらとした仕上がりに。古くボロボロになった布の繊維をモチーフに、シルクスクリーンでプリントしており、インクの手触りも感じられます。絵柄の線画と、織の凹凸の陰影が美しく重なり合う生地です。

Double weaving of cotton and linen of different thicknesses, and further salt shrinkage treatment gives it a fluffy finish with an uneven texture. The motif is made of old, tattered cloth fibers, printed by silk-screening, which also gives the ink a tactile feel. The line drawings of the pattern and the shadows of the unevenness of the weave overlap beautifully in this fabric.
